Holiday Reading: book review

Yeah! School holiday is here!
Enjoy yourselves and do plan time for homework and revision too.

Here is a reminder of homework for the week:
1) Math Term 1 Holiday Revision worksheet
2) Revise Math Practice Paper and CA1
3) Revise English Practice Paper and CA1
4) Newspaper cutting: 1 article and 3 new words (write down the meanings of words)
5) Read at least 1 storybook and write an online book review

Here is the book review format:
1) Title of book
2) Author
3) Your favourite charater(s) and why?
4) Describe your favourite part of the story.
5) Would you recommend this storybook to a friend? Why or why not?

Here is my book review.
1) Title: Watermelon
2) Author: Marian Keyes
3) My favourite character is Claire as she is a kind and brave person. She tries her best in everything she does.
4) I enjoy the part of the story when Claire realised how her family members love and cherish her. Although she lived and worked in another country and did not get to see her family often, they still cared a lot for her. When she encountered problems, she was always welcome back home where her family would encourage and help her.
5) I would recommend this storybook to my friends as it is interesting and well-written. I'm sure my friends would enjoy reading it too.

    3)My favourite character are Kirsty and Rachel as they are kind and helpful person.They tries their best to find the missing things.
    4)I enjoy the part of the story when Kirsty and Rachel had find all the missing things.

    3)My favourite character is Chrissie the wish fairy as she is helpful and kind.She help people a lot.
    4)I enjoy the part where the goblin floundered in the stream as it is very funny.

    4)I enjoy the part the little boy Dan help other's mother to carry logs to her everyday.

    3)My favourite character is Peter.He stays strong even though his Grandfather could not and never get out of Hungary as he is stockbroker.
    4)My favourite part of the story is when Peter's aunt,Aunt Olga, gets angry at the police for giving her a ticket as she had parked at the grass not at the parking lot.
    5)I would recommend this story to my friends as it is very interesting and my friends will be interested on finding out out what happened to Peter's granfather.

    3.my favourite character is mouse had get champ jump off the highdive and swim laps.

    4.i laugh this part of the story that champ woke mouse up at 6a.m to go running he started to go to bed in my sweatsuit just so i could sleep for a few more extra minutes.

    5.yes. it is because the story have alot of funny story and some funny thing that mouse do.

    3)My favourite character is Jess and Emma because Jess stand for her brother and Emma doesn't care about her surroundings
    4)My favourite part was when the book club gather an became friends because at first they are strangers to each other

    3) My favourite character is Becky. She is funny and yet very warm and kind to all her friends and family members.
    4) I like the part of the story when she planned for a surprise birthday party. She learnt her lesson to ask for help when needed. As no man is an island. Unity is strength.
    5) I would certainly recommend this wonderful novel to my friends because it is funny and it teaches us many life lessons.

    Title:The Teddy Bear's Tail and other stories
    Author:Enid Blyton
    There's a boy in this story named Timmy.He always likes to get into trouble.And he even rude to everyone!
    the part that i like is when Tommy gets chikky!
    If he is rude to anybody,his cheeks will get even more bigger than berfore!I would recommand this story to my classmates and teachers.This story is amazing and fun!Why don't you try and read it yourselves?Maisarah 5B

    Title: The Girl who Chased the Moon
    Author: Sarah Addison Allen
    My favourite characters are Emily Benedict and Julia Winterson. Julia was Emily's late mother's schoolmate. Julia was kind and warm towards Emily, helping her to settle down in her mother's hometown, Mullaby.
    My favourite part of the story was when Julia thought of her late father and memories of misunderstanding and unspoken care and concern was too late to convey. It teaches me to learn to cherish my loved ones around me and to show my love for them daily.
    Yes, I would recommend this novel to my friends.

    like practie hard for wrestling mat one day is like to his battle he hear his sister cheer for he and he remeder that his coah teach he to doing it you were win and he suddley go down-but not out.i`m working hard to get him in a half-nelson and he won the battle.
