Movie Lesson: The *Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
5B ^embarked on a learning journey through watching an interesting fantasy movie: The *Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as our post-SA2 activity. The Chronicles of Narnia is a series of seven fantasy novels for children by C. S. Lewis.
The story was about four British children: Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie who were #evacuated during a war to the countryside. They found a wardrobe that led them to the fantasy world of Narnia. They learnt about bravery and friendship. They allied with the King of Narnia - the Lion Aslan against the evil forces of the White Witch.
Here are the post-movie discussion questions:
1) State adjectives to describe each of the children character in the story. (Eg. the loyal Lucy, the greedy Edmund etc)
2) Which is your favourite part of the story? Why?
3) If you can choose to be one of the talking animals, who would it be? Why?
Enjoy the show and have fun learning.
I hope some of you would pick out the Chronicles of Narnia novel from the bookstore or library to read during the school holidays.
