The PSLE results will be released tomorrow 22 Nov after 12 noon (as according to the news stated early this week).
See all of you in the school hall around 11.45 am.
Whatever the results will be, please be brave to accept it.
And the next step is to consider carefully what secondary schools to choose.

We have selected Good Time for 6B Dance for P6 Graduation Concert.
As we reminisce* the good times we had, learning and playing together these 2 years, we will surely have a great and wonderful time preparing for our Good Time Dance.
The dance trainings are going to be tough as we do not have much time to learn and rehearse for it. To date, we have only learnt the chorus parts. We certainly look forward to putting all the dance steps together beautifully and to present our BEST on Graduation Day.

Post-Exams Movie: The Chronicles of Narnia
There have been 3 film adaptations:
1) The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005)
2) Prince Caspian (2008)
3) The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010)
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
The story follows four British children who were evacuated during the Blitz to the countryside and found a wardrobe that led to the fantasy world of Narnia; there, they must ally with the Lion Aslan against the forces of the White Witch, who had the world under an eternal winter.
Prince Caspian was the second adaption to the Chronicles of Narnia franchise.
The whole production team from The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe returned.
The story follows four British children who returned to Narnia and found out that over 1300 years have passed and the land had been invaded by Telmarines. The four Pevensie children returned to aid Prince Caspian in his struggle for the throne against his corrupt uncle, King Miraz.
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader was the third official film in the series.
The story follows the two younger Pevensie children as they returned to Narnia with their cousin, Eustace. They joined the new king of Narnia, Caspian, in his quest to rescue seven lost lords to save Narnia from a corrupting evil that resided on a dark island.

ICT Animation Lesson!
Pupils were very excited about this ICT lesson.
In groups, pupils took photos of one another in different poses.
They learnt to edit their photos using an animation software: picasion.com which places different poses into various layers. With a click of a button, they could then see their still photos being animated. It was an interesting lesson.

P6 Post PSLE E-Career Programme
Yeah! PSLE is finally over!
It's time for P6 pupils to explore their dream secondary schools.
Pupils spent 4 periods at the computer lab, exploring the ecareers.sg website.
They found out more information on secondary schools of their choices. They could gather information on CCAs, school achievements, subjects offered etc by the various secondary schools. They also engaged in a simple animation game to find out more about the secondary school education landscape in Singapore. It was indeed an informative and enriching session.

Endeavour Sports Day 2012
We had a challenging Race last Friday at the Woodlands Stadium. I believed all of us have tried our best and had put in our utmost effort in all that we did to bring honour to our class.
I was very encouraged to see the non-winners congratulating the winners and cheered for them during prize presentation. Well done, 6B!

Group Writing
We like to engage in groupwork for composition writing as this helps us to learn from our peers.
We always brainstorm and plan our stories before writing it out.
In the group, every member takes turn to write the story.
Mrs Tong constantly moves from group to group, checking our work, conferencing with us and commenting on our ideas.
She also praises us for using good ideas and good phrases in our writing.
Mrs Tong will read our good ideas and good phrases out to share with the whole class during the writing activity.
At the same time, different group members will take turns to go the the board to contribute to our class writing resources.
We are free to go to our writers' corner and the writing resources board to look for new ideas for our writing.

Please return the file next week.
The Algebra Class Test will be on Monday 16 Jan 2012.
As we are learning P6 Math topics, we are also concurrently revising P5 topics.
Do supervise your child's homework and revision at home.
We will also be starting our Math Heuristic Book in the coming week.
